Unfortunately, the Newcastle & Hunter Rugby League has declined our application to enter the 2026 competition. While this is a setback, it is far from the end of our journey.
Our focus now shifts to 2027, and we are more determined than ever to secure our place in the competition. Our committee will leave no stone unturned to demonstrate that we are a strong, viable, and well-supported organisation, proudly representing our growing community.
We thank our players, supporters, and community for their continued belief in what we are building. The road may be longer than planned, but our destination remains unchanged.
2027 — we’re coming.

Sporting the vibrant colours of green, purple, and gold, the Turtles are geared for success, both on and off the field.
Fueled by enthusiastic local support, the Teralba Turtles are excited to build on the region's rich history of rugby league, following in the footsteps of those that contributed to the game's growth in our area.
In particular, we aim to honour the legacy of the former Booragul Teralba Bears, who represented our area with pride for many years.
With a balanced mix of experience, talent, and quality coaching, the club is well positioned for a competitive and exciting season ahead.
Join us as the Turtles prepare to take the field!

Our committee is working closely with Lake Macquarie City Council to secure our home ground for our inaugural season in 2027.
Further details will be provided as negotiations progress. Follow us for updates on registrations, training schedules, trials, and our inaugural season.

The Turtles' momentum to date has enabled us to assemble a strong and committed group of players and coaches who share a clear vision for success.
The response from the playing group has been outstanding, with strong support and enthusiasm expressed, reflecting the belief in what the club is building. Adding further strength and experience, we are proud to welcome the involvement of an ex-NRL player, whose professionalism and high-performance standards will lift both on-field performance and the development of our younger players.
From this foundation, the Club's aim is to incorporate women's and junior teams in future years, as momentum and success grows.
