Fueled by enthusiastic local support, we are excited to build on the rich rugby league tradition of the region, following in the footsteps of many great clubs that have contributed to the game's growth here. In particular, we aim to honour the legacy of the former Booragul Teralba Bears, who represented our area with pride for years.

We aim to secure playing fields in Teralba, and the Turtles' Committee is working closely with Lake Macquarie City Council to secure our home ground for our inaugural season in 2026.

Whilst we don't have a Reece Walsh, interest has been expressed from experienced players across the region, including an ex NRL 200+ game player.
